Importance of the written Word of God and its authority. A reviving\nof attention and believing submission to the Word of God.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\"><strong>Nehemiah 8:1<\/strong> \u2013 \u201c<strong>And all the people gathered themselves together\nas one man into the street that was before the water gate; and they spake unto\nEzra the scribe to bring the book of the law of Moses, which the Lord had\ncommanded to Israel.<\/strong>\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"has-medium-font-size\"><li>Grammatical Usage: \u201c<strong>one<\/strong>\u201d or in the Hebrew, \u201c&#8217;echad\u201d meaning, \u201ceach; every\u201d; \u201c<strong>man<\/strong>\u201d or \u201c&#8217;iysh\u201d meaning, \u201cservant\u201d; \u201c<strong>spake<\/strong>\u201d or \u201c&#8217;amar\u201d meaning, \u201cto speak\nfrom the heart.\u201d<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"has-medium-font-size\"><li>Literal Interpretation: <strong>All the people gathered together as one people,\nin unity as servants, at the square in front of the Water Gate.
